140 Characters Will Never Be Enough!

hello010I started using Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/GreenFitnFrugal) in April of 2009. This was all under the assumption that there are other social, normal females (and males!) out there like me who care a lot about at least one of the following: how to live a healthier life, how to be more environmentally-aware, and how to live within your means. Better yet – maybe you care about all three!

Perhaps like many others, I suffer from information overload. I subscribe to magazines (nope, I cannot get over the paper version – but I recycle them at least!), online subscriptions, blogs, tweets, newsgroups, mailing lists, newsletters and any other electronic piece of media that I can get my hands on in the hopes that I will discover some new, unique and eye-opening piece of advice relating to the topics I mentioned below. And then I consolidate that with what I have learned on that topic from personal use, as well as any additional research and resources that I think are relevant and useful.

I am trying to get used to the concept of blogging, so please bear with me as I learn the ins and outs of this medium while understanding the best way to communicate my “message”. I also expect to infiltrate this message with pieces of my own personal quirkiness…and well, maybe that is already the assumption for a blog that is of my own creation.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you will continue to check back with me!
